A 4-pillared curriculum and professional development course designed to bring mindfulness and social-emotional learning (SEL) into the everyday culture of classrooms.
As a former Schools Speech and Language Therapist turned Mindfulness Teacher, I am acutely aware of the challenges that most of us face when addressing mental wellbeing in schools. We know that a child's wellbeing underpins their ability to thrive, yet there is an over-whelming lack of time, resources and training to make this a priority.
That is exactly why we created Kind Minds. A simple online portal designed to bridge the gap between the pressures to improve children's mental health and the existing support that is in place for teachers and schools. Created for children aged 2-11, Kind Minds includes our training and an entire curriculum of fully resourced wellbeing lessons, enabling you to bring mindfulness into the daily culture of your classroom.
Is noticing the rise in children's mental health needs and there is a significant lack of adequate resources and training to help you teach and nurture this in your classroom.
Has children presenting as distracted or emotionally dysregulated and you're not quite sure how to help.
Wants to focus on mental wellbeing but there is little time to prioritise this with a never-ending to-do list.

Transform your classroom into a calmer place, while getting your children to actually pay attention using mindfulness.

Create a daily culture of kindness by engaging your class in mindful self-compassion practices.

Hello Educators! I am Laura, creator and author of the Kind Minds Curriculum. I am a qualified Speech and Language Therapist and Children’s Mindfulness and Yoga Teacher. I am proud to have trained with Mindfulness in Schools Project (MiSP), the most established provider of mindfulness training and curricula for schools.
The curriculum activities have evolved inside the classrooms of myself, and my sister Kate Boniface, co-founder of The Kindness Curriculum. Kate brings her experience as a mother of 2 and as a Primary Teacher, and our combined educational experience equates to approximately 18 years in total. Our Kindness Curriculum journey began with the sudden loss of our father when we were ages 11 and 13. Knowing the immeasurable benefits that mindfulness has brought to our lives, we reflect on our education and childhood as a missed opportunity for learning these skills. The Kind Minds Curriculum has been created with so much love, and a passion to bring the things that really matter into the primary classroom.
Whether this leads you to pressing that “buy” button, or simply something to keep on the back-burner, I am so happy that you have found this page, and that you can learn a bit more about The Kind Minds Curriculum.
With love and kindness,
